Education up to 22 points

Education-location points apply to the location of the highest completed credential.

Language up to 13 points

The estimate uses the higher English or French score. It adds the bilingual bonus when both selected language levels meet CLB 4 / NCLC 4 thresholds.

Work experience up to 21 points
Age & family connection up to 13 points
Alberta job offer & economic factors up to 31 points
Important: AAIP selection considers more than the score, including provincial labour market needs and priorities, available nominations and application volumes. There is no minimum score to submit a Worker EOI, but you must meet requirements for at least one worker stream. Confirm details using current official instructions.

What this estimate means

The Worker EOI grid has a maximum of 100 points. The Alberta government considers more than points when selecting candidates, including labour market needs, priorities, available nominations and application volumes. A score does not guarantee an invitation or nomination.

The Worker EOI system applies to AAIP worker streams. Before submitting an EOI, review the current stream eligibility criteria and official instructions.
